Fine & country opens office in new zealand
Fine & Country has opened its first office in New Zealand.
The agency says its move to the suburb of Remuera in Auckland marks the strength of the brand, but also marks the strength of the New Zealand property market.
Indeed, the country has recently experienced a property boom in Auckland, with average house prices reaching $647,207. New Zealand has also seen the highest net migration in last 10 years of 26,700 entering the country last year, with 6,000 of those from the UK. 12,300 of those went to Auckland, where the majority were professionals that invested in property.
The value for money in Auckland, and particularly Remuera is significant. The average property price in London has recently surpassed the £400,000 mark, which is worth $795,000. This could get you a spacious and contemporary family home in a good location for schools and amenities. Those looking for the sea views or wide green spaces will be looking to pay at least $1.5 million.
Megan Jaffe, Principal of Megan Jaffe Real Estate Ltd and affiliate for Fine & Country Auckland, says: “The lifestyle in Auckland is very family orientated and the homes available reflect this. Here in Remuera we have a wide range of residential property available across the price bands, with New Zealand’s finest and most celebrated architecturally designed homes at the upper quartile of the market.”
