Paul Collins of the BuyAssociation believs that there are significant benefits to buying in Turkey: ‘The country is much less expensive than other Mediterranean markets, and it offers similar lifestyle benefits to places such as Spain and Portugal, including a great climate".

Mr Collins continued: "It is one of the countries where you can get cheaper property and it's still on the Mediterranean. And since property values are heading upwards, prospective investment property purchasers would be well-advised to purchase a residence early.

He concluded: “The growth in prices will be good news for owners of a Turkish property, as it means they can sell it on a considerable profit in the future”.
