Spanish demand for holiday rentals grows
Domestic demand from tourists for holiday rentals in Spain rose in 2014, according to new figures from HomeAway.
The site reveals that demand jumped 25 per cent year-on-year last year. Despite only accounting for around 2 per cent of online enquiries in 2014, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria the Basque Country and Navarra registered average growth of 60 per cent compared to 2013. Navarra led the increase with a rise of 96 per cent.
