Photo of the week: vertical housing in hong kong
With one of the densest populations in the world, Hong Kong's housing has been left with no option other than rise high into the sky with increasingly small units. Now, Australian artist Peter Stewart has captured the scale of their vertical towers on camera.
The photos, which look up into the sky from the narrow streets between the blocks, reveals just how stacked Hong Kong's homes are, with small signs of human life shining out from tiny windows.
"Whenever I look at the photo's I wonder who's in that apartment, and what they are doing," the photographer told "The Daily Mail. "This just gives so much depth to the photo's and I can sit looking at them for hours."
