Luxury thai property sales boosted by weak baht
Thailand's weaker Baht is boosting foreign demand for luxury property in the country.
CBRE Thailand have said that the currency's depreciation against other major denominations has helped to offset the deterrance of the ongoing political disputes, triggering a rise in sales:
"Most foreign buyers looking to buy properties in the region have a fixed budget to spend. With the baht declining, they can buy more expensive properties. In Phuket, we have recently been able to sell more expensive units in projects we represent," they told The Nation.
