San Francisco's dramatic sinkhole opened this week following heavy rains on Tuesday in the city. A ruptured pipe added to the damage caused by the hole - located on Sixth Avenue and Lake Street, which is a reported 20 feet by 30 feet wide and 10 feet deep.
While workers continue to repair the pipe, one local has responded in the traditional way: by listing the sinkhole on Craiglist.
"Just opened up, act fast," read the listing, advertising it as a one-bedroom micro-unit for someone to live in for $2,800 per month. "Utilies excluded".
