Jewellery may have been altered, warns experts

Jewellery investors should take care that assets have not been altered by their seller, the Consumers Union of U.S. have warned. In the run-up to Christmas, as demand for jewellery peaks, shops may have used techniques such as laser drilling or fracture filling to improve their appearance without disclosing the processes to the buyer.
