Hats off to north dakota
The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora, near the Montana border, is celebrating its title of US cowboy museum of the year...
The American Cowboy Culture Association bestowed the 2010 Western Museum of the Year award upon the Hall of Fame for work that includes preserving the Western Trail, which meanders from Brownsville, Texas, through Medora to the Canadian border. The trail was used in the late 19th century to herd Texan cattle to northern markets. Hall of Fame folk, no doubt dressed in their best cowboy gear, will accept the award in Texas on September 8.
