The key reason why Thailand is so attractive to the Chinese is that there is a simple visa process and Bangkok can be reached from China in just five hours. This influx of Chinese is helping the economy and is driving demand for holiday accommodation and holiday homes. Some tour operators have reported a 100% increase in bookings this summer.
