Migrant influx presents an opportunity in germany
Germany's new laws on migrant workers could offer big opportunities for international property investors
The new laws, which make it easier for workers to enter the country from new European Union members and get a work-permit, could offer huge potential for overseas property investors.
Chintan Mahida, a foreign property expert from investor portal nubricks.com, said that the extra number of workers could have a real benefit for investors who wish ton rent out their property.
"An increasing demand for housing is likely to be a really positive thing for investors as rental demand becomes more competitive and prices increase," she said.
Recent changes to the law included a lowering of the minimum annual income required to gain a work permit in Germany from £63,386 to £45,588.
