Donald trump's family trust loses $1m on setai house

Donald Trump's family trust has sold a duplex in Miami Beach. The home at The Setai development was first bought by the trust for $7.8 million, bagging them a stylish pad with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and designer furnishings.

The trust is in the name of Maryanne Trump Barry, Donald’s sister, with her son and daughter-in-law acting as trustees for the sale. The buyer was the Nakash family, who have made their name (and fortune) with the Jordache series of designer jeans in the US. The price paid? $7 million, leaving the Trump fund facing a lost of almost $1m. Given Donald's recent comments proposing a ban on Muslims entering the US, though, it is hard to imagine that many will sympathise.
