Following our World Cup predictions, which forecast an overall victory for the USA, TheMoveChannel.com follows the FIFA tournament through every stage, highlighting a property Match of the Day.
The Netherlands finds itself up against an unstoppable force this evening, as Spain's property market takes to the stage. Spanish real estate, for a long time the most popular in the world on TheMoveChannel.com, may not be at its peak of demand, but interest is still high thanks to low prices.
In fact, price is the only area where the Netherlands outscores Spain, with prices dipping 2.1 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2014 compared to Spain's 4 per cent. That fall in values, though, positions Spain in good stead to take home the trophy: buyers are actively searching for property (to the tune of 32,100 in May vs Netherlands' 50). The countries' share of enquiries, though, says it all. Spain? 14.38%. Netherlands? 0%.
