Jessica chastain's old pad up for rent
Ever wanted to live like Jessica Chastain? Now's your chance, as her old pad is available to rent. The actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her turns in both Zero Dark Thirty and The Help, is no stranger to Hollywood glamour off-screen: Chastain and her other half bought a condo across the street from Carnegie Hall earlier this year that once belonged to composing legend Leonard Bernstein.
The $5.1 million home, complete with four bedrooms and five fireplaces, means that Chastain has moved away from her old place in Greenwich Village. She hasn't parted ways permanently, though, choosing to let out the property rather than sell it outright.
To become Jessica Chastain's tenant, all you have to do is stump up $11,500 a month. That princely sum will nab you two bedrooms, two bathrooms, rooms with high ceilings and a "large and open chef's kitchen, with top appliances including Sub-zero, Thermador and a Miele W/D".
The listing, by Chris Pomeroy of Halsted Property, describes the pad as "exceptional in every way", but the fact that it is fully furnished is perhaps the most exceptional quality, meaning that you also get a "discretely positioned" home entertainment system, complete with a 65" flatscreen 3-D TV.
"The perfect place to call home without needing to bring anything more than your toothbrush & favorite clothing," adds Halstead, although the not-bringing-anything clause includes one other condition: no pets.
