Spaced out in the gulf
The United States is planning the development of space centres in the Middle East...
The U.S Space and Rocket Centre have been working with areas
in the Gulf and North Africa to establish space centres that will attract
tourists interested in space and aviation.
Organizers said the first space Centre would be established in the United Arab Emirates.
The Space Investment Company has signed an agreement with the Ras Al Khaimah Government to build a £50 million
space Centre in the emirate.
The Centre is expected to have a huge impact on tourism in Ras Al Khaimah and eventually attract one million visitors per year.
