Oman house prices hold steady
Low oil prices have sent many economies and property markets spinning into declnie, but Oman's property market is holding steady, according to new figures.
Data from ERA-Oman shows that rents are expected to stay stable in the fourth quarter of 2015, while prices are also projected to maintain their current levels, although they will not rise signficantly in 2016.
The news will not be encouraging for investors looking for capital growth, but for those hoping to climb onto the property ladder, the figures will be welcome - and a relief, too, for domestic and expat renters.
