Scarlett Johannson has splashed $2.2 million on a home in Hamptons Beach.

The star of sci-fi horror Under the Skin, which is set for a UK release within the next few months, has attracted a lot of attention recently after she chose to appear in a advertising campaign for SodaStream. Scarlett still found the time, though, to spend her earnings on a beaach house boasting four bedrooms and four and a half baths.

Located on 1.4 "very private" acres, the home has "a loft-like and spacious floor plan", according to its listing (via Curbed), spanning 3,500 square feet in total - more than enough space to store some cannisters of SodaStream.
