Morocco ‘very popular’ with investors

Morocco Investors could be set to benefit from increased tourism in the country…

According to Global Edge, the North African nation has been attracting more and more visitors in recent years. This, it said, has helped make it very popular with overseas property buyers, as have Government efforts to drive further growth in the holiday industry. Authorities in the country were praised for making it even more desirable by investing in infrastructure improvements.

Global Edge also commended the move to introduce more international flights to Morocco, as this has opened it up to investors from countries such as the UK, Germany and Spain.

The website commented: "The British are by no means the only audience of potential buyers."

Meanwhile, Reuters has quoted Moroccan tourism minister Mohammed Boussaid as saying that he expects the tourism sector to experience further growth this year.
