New zealand house prices reach new records
New Zealand house prices have reached a new record high, according to the latest report from RealEstate.co.nz.
The figures show that seller confidence is on the up, with 11,000 new listings coming on to the market in September 2013, up 2.7 per cent from August. That confidence pushed up the mean asking price to $466,526, with 14 regions reporting climbing values. Indeed, new highs were recorded in Waikato and Coromandel, 3.9 per cent and 1.4 per cent up from August’s previous records respectively.
