10 more towers planned for dubai
Dubai is climbing back towards the top of the property heap, at least as far as its developers are concerned. Where developent had once slowed down in the wake of low prices and weak demand, the emirate's rebound has seen builders regain some of their former audacity, even announcing plans for the world's first temperature-controlled city.
Now, though, Buroj has announced plans to develop 10 new serviced apartments blocks across Dubai in the next year, with Dh700m already invested to build the first four in 2014.
"We believe there is a lot of opportunity in this sector as the number of tourists expected to visit are set to rise till and post-2020," Ismail Ahmed, CEO of Buroj Property Development, comments.
