Sean connery's wife accused of tax fraud

Sean Connery's wife has been accused Spanish officials of defrauding the country of property taxes.

Micheline Roquebrune, aged 86, could face a fine of up to £16 million and a stint behind bars, if charged with the alleged offence. The charges were levelled against her, following an investigation that found irregularities surrounding the sale of the couple's property in Marbella in 1998.

Connery was cleared by the investigation at the beginning of 2014, reports the Guardian.
