Orlando expo 'to offer great bargains'

An event in Orlando next month will offer overseas property buyers great bargains, an expert has said...

The Orlando Foreclosures Expo, which will be held in the city on February 7th and 8th, will provide lots of opportunities for buyers to pick up cheap deals, director of overseas investor portal Property Abroad Les Calvert has stated.

Commenting on the possibilities awaiting investors, he noted, "One of my contacts in Florida has just bought a four-bedroom, two-bathroom villa near the Disney resort for just £41,000."

This was "an absolutely incredible bargain by anyone's standards", he remarked.

Such prospects may alert overseas property buyers to the potential prospects in the Florida foreclosures market.

Those investing may also be keen on the possibilities for tourist buy-to-let, with attractions including not just Disney but a large number of golf courses.

As well as offering chances for the public to play, the area hosts professional tournaments, such as the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament, which will take place at the Bay Hill Club in March.

Last year the competition was won by Tiger Woods.
