New brazil villas serve up architectural tapas
A striking architectural style, previously unseen in Northeast Brazil has been unveiled at Pure Resorts Parnaiba, where off-plan villas have gone on sale this month.
The look and feel of the new resort’s Signature Villas designed by international award-winning architects, Melvin Villarroel combines Mediterranean influences with the use of locally sourced, natural materials.
The Spanish architecture firm has previously designed on behalf of leading brands such as Jumeirah and Kempinski Hotels.
Distinctive design features include an exposed beam ceiling made from sustainable eucalyptus beams, a thatched roof made from native palm tree straw, and typically Spanish white-washed render.
Ailse MacFarlane, Managing Director of Landcorp International, which is marketing plots and off-plan villa sales at the resort, says, “The distinctive look is conceived to become synonymous with the Pure Resorts Hotels & Residences brand. There are plans to launch five premium resorts in Northeast Brazil and the residential villas will be a key component.
“The architects were asked to come up with a design that integrated with the natural surroundings and at the same time brought the outside in. That’s why there are high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to let in as much of the beautiful Brazilian sunlight and scenery as possible.”
The premium villas, which all have their own private pools, are by Parnaiba’s 8km-long Pedra Do Sal beach, which is regarded as the best spot to watch the sunset in the region.
Villa owners also have access to a community clubhouse and sports facilities such as tennis courts and football pitches.
“The villas have just gone on sale and the reaction has been very positive. We have already taken an international client on site to choose his preferred plot, and with the launch of our inspection visit programme we are expecting a lot more,” says Ailse MacFarlane.
