Finland's property market flooded by tenants
Finland's property market is being flooded by tenants, as a shortage in rental homes fails to keep up with demand. Indeed, almost 40,000 tenants are now on hold, according to agents, with appetite strongest for studio apartments.
Agents in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa reported 38,600 live applications for rental accommodation at the end of May, reports Property Showrooms, but the three cities have provided fewer than 500.
