Jake gyllenhaal sells hollywood home

Jake Gyllenhaal's Hollywood home has just been sold.

The two-bedroom compound, located in Hollywood Hills, was listed on the market just over a month ago and boasts two bathrooms, a large swimming pool and a separate detached office.

The listing describes it as a "gated celebrity compound on almost 2 acres down a long private drive" in a "tranquil location" that is "ideal for getting to studios and throughout much of Los Angeles".

The home was picked up in 2005 by the actor under a "Woodrow Trust", reports Trulia. Since then, Jake has been house-hunting in Tribeca and SoHo, while the Hollywood Hills pad's asking price has seen its asking price climb from $2.5 million to $3.5 million.
