Rapid construction in north dakota sparks international sales

Last week, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, one of Saudi Arabia's leading global investors, warned the Opec oil states last week against the impact that US fracking could have on world energy exports.

Specialist commercial and residential developer North Dakota Developments LLC has seen first-hand the incredible interest that North Dakota is generating. The company is building executive hotel suites near Watford City, North Dakota to house the influx of oil workers that the fracking energy boom has attracted to the state.

Construction is progressing rapidly and has fuelled sales from around the world. CEO Robert Gavin comments: "Our two Singapore seminars in July attracted considerable interest, with sales from the first one alone totalling USD 1.2 million, while in Australia one of our partners achieved over USD 2 million in sales in just six weeks. Interest from buyers in the Middle East is picking up too, as the impact of the US fracking is beginning to be gleaned - in the last month we've had three Qatar-based buyers and one Abu Dhabi-based buyer come on board."

With the site expected to be fully operational and tenanted by September 2013, sales are increasing impressively as construction continues, he adds. July's total of 132 sales is expected to be easily beaten in August, with the first week alone seeing over 100 sales.

“As the global export effects of North Dakota's fracking industry begin to take shape,” he concludes, “it's a situation that can only continue to improve.”
