Spain's "50 shades of grey" bondage hotel delayed

Plans to open the first bondage hotel in Spain has been delayed after complaints from officials.

The hotel, called Roissy Castle and inspired by the success of the graphic novel, was set to launch last week including 20 S&M-themed rooms and a dungeon, promising residents anything but a peaceful night's stay. Oscar Tena, the Mayor of Vilafranca, though, objected to the raunchy piece of rela estate, which was located too close to the church.

Tena told the press: "We are very angry with this person for causing this scandal without saying anything to the proprietors of the hotel or the town hall. We don’t want this in our village, because it is right next to our residential Centre and our chapel."
