Foreign investors put €45m in spain
Foreign investors put €45 million into Spain's economy in the first 10 months of 2013, according to latest figures from the Bank of Spain.
Kyero notes that investors did the opposite in 2012: last year, just over €179 million was taken out of Spain by investors, a rise of 1.44 per cent year-on-year. For 2013 to mark a turnaround - El Pais says Foreign Direct Investment rose 56 per cent between January and October- is a sign that confidence is on the up in the Spanish economy. Indeed, the country officially came out of recession in the third quarter of last year, recording quarterly growth of 0.1 per cent.
