Investor ‘bigs up' bulgaria
A British overseas property investor has stated that Bulgaria is a developing market whose potential is far greater than that of already established markets.
Suggesting that traditional markets no longer have much growth potential, Greg Marshall from Solihull told news service website, Property Wire that he chose to invest in Bulgaria because of its possible growth in years to come, as well as being a beautiful place to visit and enjoy.
Mr. Marshall said: "Making a return from my purchase was also a smaller part of my reason to buy and I rent the apartment out myself through my own website so I am making a return on my investment as well."
Property Wire also noted that there has been a rise in UK nationals buying real estate in Bulgaria, with the Association of International Property Professionals recording a year-on-year rise of six per cent in 2007.
Earlier this week Bulgarian property law expert Philip Howell, a partner at law firm John Howe & Co, said the country is a good one to invest in because it has strong tourist seasons in both summer and winter, which can only be good news for property investors.
