Fiji housing supply on the up

Fiji's housing supply is slowly on the up, according the central bank. The bank governor, Ariff Ali, tells the Fiji Times that the number of building permits issued has been growing since 2010, with more homes expected to be built in the near to medium term.

"Similarly, lending to the real estate sector and to individuals for private dwellings has risen markedly since 2010," Mr Ali added.
