Sean penn lists malibu home for sale

Sean Penn has put his Malibu home up for sale.

The star of the screen purchased the home back in 2009 for just under $4 million. The property boasts three bedrooms and three baths, not to mention a swimming pool and gated beach access.

The striking thing about the property, though, is its decor, which is as juxtaposed as it can get. "Think "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" meets "Dead Man Walking."," says Yahoo Homes, which has an in-depth photo tour of the 1.4-acre estate.

The home is up for sale following the divorce of Penn from Robin Wright - which took place in the same year as his original purchase - as Penn moves onto a new chapter in his life with new partner Charlize Theron.

As he told Esquire in an interview: "I’m in love with a woman and home is where the heart is, right?"
