Nazi bunker turned into cafe
An abandoned nazi bunker has been turned into a cafe and renewable energy Centre in Hamburg.
The Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg Flak bunker, which was first constructed in 1942, has been transformed by local studio IBA Hamburg into a public memorial. They have added solar panels on the outside to generate renewable energy and, on the inside, inserted a cafe on the top floor when an aircraft turret used to be.
