Stunning: photos of abandoned japanese home

These photos, taken by the Tokyo Times when they discovered the building, speak volumes about its former owner: the grand ballroom, the open living rooms and the staff quarters suggest its former resident, Mr. H, was an influential, important man. 

Built in 1928, the property is in surprisingly good condition, from the ornate staircases right down to the equally delicate paperwork still perched on a chest of drawers.
