Celebrity homes: is this what roger federer’s new home looks like?

The tennis legend has 17 grand slams to his name alongside a terrace apartment in Wollerau and two chalets in Valbella. In 2011, though, Roger and his wife, Mirka, added something else to his career haul: a 5,800 square-foot plot of land in the slopes above Lake Zurich, Herrliberg.

The 1.4 acres of land cost Federer the sum of 29 million Swiss Francs, but has remained empty for the past two years. Now, though, real estate blog RealEstalker has unearthed what they believe to be plans for his new property.

The unmarked renderings came from “a fancy Swiss architecture firm”, they report, and if true, suggest that Roger Federer’s new home will boast a carport, many glass-railed terraces, a guest house, a swimming pool and – naturally – a private tennis court.
