Jessica chastain buys bernstein's old home

Jessica Chastain has bought the home that used to belong to Leonard Bernstein.

The legendary composer, who worked on On The Waterfront and West Side Story, lived in the Manhattan apartment on West 57th Street until 1974. The four-bedroom unit, located in The Osborne, still has its stained-glass parlor windows and hand-carved mahogany doors from the time, notes the NY Post, as well 14-foot ceilings and five fireplaces.

Chastain paid $5.1 million for the property.
