Cyprus extends revaluation appeal until april
Cyprus has extended its deadline for revaluation appeals until April next year.
The island has been racing to revalue all of its housing stock all year to make sure its real estate records are accurate and up to date - a requirement to help correct any errors in its immovable property tax.
The original deadline was January 2015, but this has now been pushed back by three months in a new lass passed by the House plenum. Tax for this year will continue to be calculated using old values, while 2015 fees will be based on the new figures.
The revised property values are available to view on the country's land registry website.
