The huge property, known as The Charles Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, functions as a team headquarters, school for mutants and elegant country estate all rolled into one. Withstanding nuclear explosions, military strikes, giant robots and even part of itself becoming sentient and leaving, the building has become one of geekdom’s most iconic abodes.

How much would it cost to buy? Movoto found out.

The site’s research team chose the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning as their model. The five-floor building contains the usual school features on its upper three stories, from an assembly hall to a library and canteen. Drop down a tier to the basement levels, though, and you can find labs, training rooms, Professor X’s super-computer Cerebro, and the ready room, complete with launch pad for their giant flying ship, The Blackbird.

Comparing its floor plan to the property’s location in North Salem, New York, Movoto decided on a rough size of 76,654 square feet. The value per square foot? $759. Put them together and you have the staggering super-sum of $58,180,38.
