Scottish investors in ‘pole position’

Ryanair has announced new services between Scotland and Poland…

The carrier will fly from Edinburgh to various destinations in the Eastern European country, including Lodz, Krakow and Wroclaw. According to David Johnston, managing director of Edinburgh Airport, these new services are likely to be extremely popular with consumers and investors.

He commented: "Developing Scotland’s direct connectivity with the world has been a key priority over recent years. This hard work is paying off, and these new flights will make it much easier for potential real estate investors to reach their properties in Poland”.

Ryanair's new services are likely to have a number of positive effects on Poland, such as boosting its tourist trade and economy. The country has also recently been tipped as a good market for overseas property investors to consider, due to its growing housing market.

Earlier this month, the Foreign Property Buyer website said there is "money to be made" in the Polish market.
