SpainBuyingGuide.com announced its plans to launch a new office in the heart of Spain's most popular property region earlier this year but now the company has officially opened its doors.
The branch is designed to offer a one-stop shop for Spain property buyers, from face-to-face recommendations from knowledgeable relationship manager Benoit Panissie and searching for properties on a touch-screen portal to finding a local agent, solicitor or financial advisor and speaking to a currency specialist from Smart Currency Exchange about transferring funds to make a purchase.
It's a different business model, appreciated by customers and partners alike. This was apparent in conversations on the evening among guests and partner companies. Jana Korpova, Head of Business Development at partners Smart Currency Exchange, commented: “By not selling property directly or by just focusing on currency exchange, it's a really different dynamic, one that can offer a real depth of expertise to customers looking to buy safely in the Costa del Sol – and beyond.”
John Holloway, Partnership Development Manager at Viva, complemented the "retro" feel of the cheerful offices, while Clive Saxby of Marbella Dream Living, says the timing could not have been better
"We're seeing a really positive upturn in the Spanish market, and are looking to expand ourselves, employing more staff to meet demand," says Saxby. "It's a tight-knit business community here and really is the place to be – we've been working with the team at Spain Buying Guide for some time and are delighted to finally welcome them and their unique offering for Spanish homebuyers!"
Angelos Koutsoudes, Head of the Overseas Guides Company, adds: “This is the first exciting step in our international growth and expansion, with the launch of our new office in Portugal in September and additional offices in a number of other countries on the horizon. This gives us a way to provide both our clients and partners with a wider range of in-country, face-to-face services, complementing the valuable support from our Resource Centre and online services already available from our UK headquarters."
